hey gaz .... no need to flag it for nudity and violence when there isn't any. Just makes you the Boy Who Cried Wolf, you know? not cool Lyrra

Oh but the website that it's linked to contains some nudity and some violence (not Kill Bill level stuff) but violence non the less. I figured it would be best to be safe that way.

hmm, just a friendly advice from a fellow poser-comic writer... maker? artist? I never know how to refer yourself when you're making comics using Poser... anyway. Please, try to slice the images... a single images takes TOO much time to load... as someone making comics, you want as many people as possible reading your work... then please make it more accessible to them... I'm indeed after a slow dial-up connection... I took a lot of chances to work in my comic and that meant being left with very little money, and I guess that there's a LOT of people who don't have dsl or cable... so, by slicing the images up you make the loading time way faster, because you can slice one images in ten little images which will load at the same time (almost). I know you're just learning html, but if you have photoshop or any other software like that (I would guess that the free paintshop prop software allowe slices as well), you should be fine. other than that, your comic is very funny and entertaining... but I have doubts about your option of making them available in pdf format... like the sinclair's pussey episode... that should have been a real easy big image to slice and upload, then you save people the time spent in loading up adobe acrobat (think about people with slower systems... guilty again, heh). other than that, keep up the good work... when i have done searchs on alatavista looking for "poser comics", I find anything but poser comics, I almost thought no one else was making comic with poser, so it's nice to see more people giving it a try. I was definately thinking about giving the sliced method a try, the only problem is slicing several of my already prepared big slice images would cut the text, but then I guess I could make those just a two frame image. However, I think that is a good idea that I could implement after I make lunch and do my laundry! Max, no link to your site? - Gazzy!

kayarnad, it may be that most Poser comics don't have the word "Poser" flagged up, so that's why you won't find them.

kayarnad ( ) posted Sun, 02 November 2003 at 8:22 PM

well, my comics right now are WIP... when they're ready, be sure I'll look you up and send you a message sending you the link.... hey phantast, then , have any suggestions on how to look for them?? because searching for "web comics" give you too much to search in between. Max

Gaz, ah. Well I confess to only looking the link for about .5 seconds ...we just get too many people abusing the flagging in here to try to get attention and it gets on everyones nerves. My apologies then :) kayarnad Try over at Animotions.com, they have a great list of Poser made online comics. 24 at current count ..that should keep ya busy for a bit :) Lyrra

Did someone say they wanted a comic book, I mean *graphic novel* made with Poser? Well, check out *The Day of the Ninja*, in my gallery, here at Renderosity. The link above takes you to page 1, which then includes links to the other pages. Enjoy --John

heh heh, you're right, there's no more "comic books" section neither at my local library nor at Barnes and Nobles... it's all "graphic novels"... will people respect our work more because of the fancier name?? thanks for the links Max

kayarnad ( ) posted Mon, 03 November 2003 at 7:29 PM

gosh, animotions is so chaotic... look ay the time of my post, since then I've been logged to animotions and I didn't find a SINGLE comic... where are the comics... mean, graphic novels?? I searched in the Gallery, freestuff and the the forums, and nothing... I doubt I'll ever promote my own comic in that site now...
