The Unofficial King's Quest IX Team (http://www.kq9.org) is currently looking for: - digital colourists. We are looking for a hand painted technique when colouring. - 2D sketchers. We mainly need those who design backgrounds. Character sketchers are also free to apply. - 3D modellers and texturers. We need people to make characters, objects and backgrounds. Low resolution modelling and animation experience is an asset. King's Quest IX: "Every Cloak Has a Silver Lining" is an unofficial fan-designed adventure game, based on Sierra On-Line's King's Quest series. It centers on the adventures of the royal family of the Kingdom of Daventry, and combines memorable characters, often mind-bending puzzles, great storylines, and fun gameplay. Most of the puzzles and many of the characters are inspired by myth and folklore, making the games easy to enjoy for anyone who plays them. Since this is a fan-game and will be completely free to download when completed, all positions are unpaid and purely voluntary. This also means that we require people who are creative, hard working, dedicated and motivated. Prospective applicants should keep in mind that there are weekly assignments and deadlines. Communication by e-mail and MSN Messenger is required. This is an excellent way to gain work-related experience and add to your portfolio, all within the comfort of your own home!
