Subject: Using MAX files in Poser

Is there a way to use a MAX file in Poser? Or to convert a MAX file to something that Poser can read? Thanks

It won't convert a .max file (and niether will any other program I'm aware of). Max files are native to 3ds Max, and can't be opened or imported anywhere else. It can convert .3ds object files quite well though. That's a different format than .max.

So I guess the next big question is whether anyone knows the format of the standard Pozer files & of a Max file. I'd rather not write a conversion program but, if I have the info, I'm willing to do it.
