Subject: Is Poser 4 Memory Updater Killing My PC?

I have Poser 4 installed on a WinXP Pro machine with 768MB of DDR memory. I have also installed the Poser 4.03 memory updater. When rendering AVIs, my PC will crash and do a memory dump. Is this caused by the memory updater. I assume the memoty updater is for PCs with more than 1 gigabyte of total memory. Correct?

My results have been worse with the Memory Update than without it. I have WinXP Pro and 1GB RAM in my system.
