Subject: Appreciation for BTSculptor

We are all very good at pointing out shortcomings. An example was when many members here got on BTSculptor for re-posting the same red hair colors for Kozaburo hair about once or twice a month. For those of you who haven't noticed, BTSculptor now uploads a new freebie clothing item about once a month. I'd say that's listening to your customers. I just wanted to say thanks for some cool freebies and offer something positive.

There`s always someone who will complain about something...

you know i agree with you xantor.... sometimes life gets so busy that some people forgot to stop and say the simple yet very effective "thank you". BT does some awsome work! I can only dream to be that good in a few years down the road! and BT's freebies are just as awsome! --Essie

Um, in case you'd forgotten, 1) He had been asked politely on several occasions to stop spamming the freebie section with the same textures over and over. 2) At least some were not original textures. They were hue adjustments to the originals, some of which he did not have permission to redistribute. That said, however, I do like and appreciate that scoop-necked blouse with the cute lacing he posted recently. I'm willing to let bygones be bygones.

BT's Scoop Top is one of the best V3 freebies I have seen. It is also one of the best tops free or pay. Thank-you BT!

The red hair reposts were getting beyond a joke - But he listened and took action. That's a rare thing nowadays, so thanks very much BT. round of applause

You know, speaking of which, I kind of miss the daily redhead texture. Those textures saved me at least two minutes of adjusting the hue in Photoshop. And, now, sadly, those textures are no longer available. And two minutes times 15 textures is a whole half hour of my valuable time, which could be better spent watching re-runs of Friends. "But he listened and took action" Um, I don't know if this is accurate. Did he "listen" to the complaints of the people or was he forced to "listen" to the admins when they finally had to take action? I agree with xantor also: people tend to complain more than they compliment. Why is this? Is it because people are "negative" by nature? Is it for "revenge": people experienced something bad and want to get back at whomever made them feel bad? Is it for "protection": people want to make sure others don't experience that same bad thing? Is it for "sympathy": people experienced something bad and want attention from others?

Maybe he jumped, maybe he was pushed; maybe he realised that his shameless MP promoting page would be visited more often if he offered more tempting freebies. Dunno, I was just swept up in the general feelgood bonhomie of the thread. :) Criticism does seem to come more readily than praise. Just human nature, I suspect.
