Subject: exporting files as an image

Is there some way to change the resolution of the picture you save, if you export your work as an image ? I made this big scene that requires a lot of zooming out, so the people in my scene are rather small and look a bit unsharp on the picture. I already put the compression quality to the max, but my picture remains to small. Please help... Thanks, Peevee

This is where you adjust your picture and how you want it to render. Sharen

While we have your attention on this subject, Sharen...what is a reasonable size to render, say for a gallery post? I usually bypass a picture that I have to scroll for 15 min and look at a few inches at a time. I guess to simplify my question: Render size for a full screen view?

I think 800x600 is quite a good size for a gallery post. I would even do pictures 640x480.

I make my images for display here no wider than 800px. It's a bit scrolly for people with 800x600 screen res, but the majority of visitors use higher res (according to the administration, anyway). On my personal site, which has a different design that takes up some of the screen real estate, I make images 600px maximum width. bonni

Hello, I was wondering what is the best resolution to use. I know the default is 72 but do most people go higher than that? I render at 300 and was wondering if that is too high. Thank you in advance. Warm Regards, Nancy (SophiaDeer)
