Recently I have received a supply of Curious Labs, if I have Poser 5 I can buy Vue 4 by 99 Dls,(50% less) I have read that Vue 4 this designed for home users and hobbist, and 4 Vue Pro for filmmakers, etc. I want to use Vue to make animated short films with Poser 5 and I am looking for answers about the two versions of Vue. Also he wanted to know if I can animate plants, trees and water in Vue 4 or if this single one can be made with Vue Pro. Thanks

In Vue 4.2 you can animate every thing (clouds, water, materials etc) except plants. You also can import Poser 5 figures. The update to Vue 4.2 is free at e-on's site. To be able to import animated Poser scenes, you need to have also Mover 4. In Vue 4 Pro you can animate every thing, including plants (wind). But if you want to import animated Poser scenes, you also need Mover 4. Hope this answers your question. Guitta

I said it already, in Vue 4 Pro you also can animate plants with wind or breeze, edit plants, create new plants and you have lots of other features that are not in Vue 4 like multiple undos. You also can export objects, plants, full scenes, skies for use in high end applications like C4d, Maya, Lightwave, Max... In both cases, Vue 4 or Vue 4 Pro, you need also Mover 4, if you want to import Poser animations. Have any special question? Guitta
