Very well done! What's up with all the lovecraft figures you've been doing lately? I'm not complaining - I'm a huge fan of Lovecraft. Just a little curious as to what inspired you to do them in the first place ;)

Cool! Thank you very much. You do great work.

Good lordie, she's huge! Excellent model, though. ^_^ Took an awfully long time to render, though. One lightsource casting shadows, full bells and whistles in Firefly, around 10 minutes. Ack! >_< Anyone wanna chip in and help me get a faster CPU?

In reply to #3 above... I'm a HUUUUGGGEEE HPL fan! That's really about it. Also, I think that there are a lot of other fans out there who would greatly appreciate having some interpretations of those awesome creatures on hand for thier own work. One of my personal goals for our Poser development is to continually offer support for the kinds of original figures that you just won't see from the accepted sites/vendors. The Lovecraft stuff falls dead on in that zone: it's not soft-core porn, it's not cute, it's not corporate, it's not cyber-matrix-crap... so I think it's been totally overlooked and underestimated. :) In reply to #6 above: First, excellent image!!!! That is sooo totally in the "other worldly" spirit of these HPL characters, even if it's not some wet, cyclopean setting!

Glad to know there's another Lovecraft fan into Poser - I believe your the first I've met. I'm pretty much a new fan to Lovecraft. I picked up one of his books and read through it in a day, then picked up several more. I've read as much as I can find, and then some on the internet. He was an awsome author. I've also watched just about every movie thats been inspired by him. I'm thinking about getting a game of "Call of Cthulhu" going on in my school - it's a DND game. Also, there's a computer game based on Cthulhu that's in the works. It's called Cthulhu something. It's looking very good. Anyways....Glad to meet another Lovecraft fan into poser :)

Nice work on the Shubster. But don't do Cthulhu, if you value your sanity. The last thing you want is for Cthulhu's minions to show up at your door at midnight, right after you release the Cthulhu.cr2 file!

Ummm... Actually, we have Cthulhu for sale at a number of sites:) It's a pretty ambitious figure too: has 18 tentacles coming from the head with 9 parts each and all are easyposed. Also, you might want to check out our Nyarlathotep figure. It's my interpretation of the "messenger of chaos" aspect with a massive tongue-head and three back-bent legs. All in all, a very bizarre figure. :)
