Subject: A question about the parameter dials in P5

Hi! =)

Today I was making some poses with just the plain old Vicky, I didn't add any INJ or morphs. I take a break for a while and when I come back, there are all these extra dials that weren't there before. Here is an example...PBMDC_01, PBMDC_02, PBMDC_03...all the way to PBMDC_30. Then there is PBMCC_01, again it goes all the way to PBMCC_30.

Aren't these supposed to be hidden? How and why are they showing up when ever they feel like it? It's happened before, but I always assumed it was because of the INJ or morphs that were added. It's incredibly annoying going through all those dials to find what I want.

Help, please?

Oh, and I am using XP, P5 with all the latest patches/SR's, and Vicky with her update.

I don't have an explanation why this occurs, but you could always create a new Parameter Dial group (right arrow at top) and drag/drop all of the unwanted controls into it to remove clutter. You could then delete that group if you want, while you're working; I wouldn't make it permanent (i.e.: save back to library).

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

Or another thing you can do is download and run the "dialcleaner" utility on the Victoria 3.0 page at DAZ. It runs through and re-hides all those things. I had similar problems when I made up the Anime Doll-vs-Victoria 3 hybrid. A quick activation, and all those PBM's went away...

Excellent Yggdrasil! That is exactly what I need. Kuroyume, I will keep that in mind. I had no idea you could do that kinda thing with the dials. Thank you both very much for your replies!! =)
