Subject: Vue 4 pro crash

Why !!!! 5 -10 min after start Vue crashes. Maybe openGL ? If i turned off, all is ok, but all work very slow. Especialy plant editor. I tryied change video drivers, but any effects. Vue is updated to v.266001 My configuration: Mainboard ECS K7s5A Win XP Pro SP1 Athlon 1800+ 512 ram FX5200 with 51.16 Please help !!!

video drivers is 52.16, not 51.16.

Vue uses lots of ressurces, that's why, in fact, OpenGL can be the reason. Normally Vue should be faster with OpenGL disabled. Try to group every objects you can group! Hide folders or objects you don't need to see while working on your image This makes Vue faster. Also clean often the TEMP folder from Documents and settings/your name (or default user) Shot down all programms running in the background. Guitta

But work in plant editor with opengl turned off is very, very slow :(

No, the plant editor isn't slow at all for me when OpenGL is turned off. It is very fast. Make sure that you have also OpenGL turned off in the plant editor, select Auto render instead. (second icon from left in the plant editor)

"Shot down all programms running in the background. Guitta" Drastic matter dont you think?? Tomal, if you have windows 2k/xp... look at your taskmanager. You should be fine if your operating system is dedicating 90-95% of the processor cycles to Vue.
