How do I apply face expressions? I use Poser 5 with the victoria model. I select the face and the expression from the library but nothing happened. Has anyone a idea? Thanks

The expressions in the library are meant for Judy, the P5 female that came with Poser. Victoria has a different set of head morphs so she won't work with those files :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

I have special Expressions from DAZ for V3. How do I apply them to the face?

Just in case you mean my V3XprssnMagic from the current DAZ sale, I want to post so I solve any problem. My program is free-standing and doesn't install any files in the Poser library (you preview the expressions, then paste to V3 in Poser). It includes a INJ pose that injects the necessary V3 expression morphs (also a detailed .pdf user guide). If it's an ordinary set of library poses, have you injected the required head morphs to your Victoria 3 figure? If not, the dial values can not be set by the pose files because there's no morph information in the figure (although a non-functional dial may show in Poser 5). If you have used the INJ pose file to inject the morphs, do expression dials appear - and can you change their values by hand? Also, you can't change the location or name of !DAZ folder or the morphs will not be injected by the INJ pose. HTH - Elisa/gryffnn

I just broke down and bought XprssnMagic for M3 today, and I must say, it's a great little resource. It makes facial expressions easy (a major plus for animations!). And I love how it's way faster to tweak an expression in XprssnMagic than in poser. M3 is now the best actor in my Runtime. lol ;D Any chance there will be more XprssnMagic like products in the future? bB

Thanks BastBlack - it's always great to hear from someone who's getting good use from my products. DAZ has my XprssnMagics for all the Millennium figures: Michael 2, 3, Victoria 2, 3 and Stephanie. They're tucked away in various places like the Software Section and Special Interest. You can just do a search for XprssnMagic and they should all show up. They should be included in DAZ's sale on brokered products through Dec. 1. As soon as I get a big project out the door, I'll get back to work on the interface and packaging for a new product for M3 that I hope you'll find just as useful - Elisa/gryffnn
