Not really sure..but I think it has something to do with old browsers not being able to support a mac version of an image if originating from a PC and vice versa. Thry this URLHi Zhann, Happy Thanksgiving! I think it has something to do with Mac display cards applying gamma-correction while a lot of PC cards do not. Anyway, they have a pretty good explanation on the subject here:
Thanks guys, and Happy Thanksgiving ...:) You know I really didn't think there was any difference, or a least not so that it was that noticable, I've viewed stuff done on a MAC in jpg format that looks just fine, but it always pays to ask to make images better for everyone....:)

Not to sound dense, but what is the difference (if any) between a PC jpg and a MAC jpg? I'm uploading to Turbo sqiud and I noticed several texture packs mentioning they had MAC compatible jpgs, I had never heard of this so I'm asking, anyone know?
