Paul, i've contacted LIPSinc about the problem, but did not get any results yet. Just wanted to know if someone in here already knows a workaround, and this forum is the only way to adress all experts i know. I do not support cracking in any way, but having my cd drive broken pisses me off, not being able to work with tools i did pay for, pisses me off even more. I would like to say that those CD checking methods are really annoying to paying customers. I dont want to be handicapped because of some dorks illegally copying software. that sucks! and thats another thing why i don't like warez and all sorts of stuff. We, the paying customers have to suffer from the methods used to prevent copying. And that really really sucks! Not to think about the cost of developing all those anti-copying mechanisms etc. I'm still not able to continue my work and wheater i want or not, i'll loose one customer if i don't get ready in time, thanks to a "please insert original cd" check and a broken drive! brave new world! -Ede

Oh I agree totally, not being able to use s/ware you've brought and paid for is a royal bummer and, as I said, you have my deepest sympathy. Hopefully you'll get some good info from LIPSinc. Paul

I totaly agree with you Ede, i recently bought mimic, and it is a royal pain in the @$$ to have to keep the mimc cd in the drive. also in my experience, the people at LIPSinc are not so good at e mail support, you might want to just call them directly ka

I just bought it too...I am afraid I am going to forget that I left it in the machine and it heats up and warps..
