It sounds like you need to clean house. Go through and export and delete the ones you don't use. Then select the remainders and export them as one big obp file library. Exit/quit Bryce. Go into the Bryce folder and delete the obp file user library. Restart Bryce. Go to the user file and reimport that master obp file you created. That will bring back Bryce's performance. Then if you do need one of the others that you didn't keep, you can reimport it later.
You might try reorganizing with the help of the Bryce Librarian available free from Wolfiesden.com. (A lifesaver program for me.) I have several hundred megs of objects saved in groups in "library" *.obp files by type (i.e., one group for clothes items for figures, several groups for weapons separated by type, several for different trees & plants, a couple for architectural elements, another for boats & their parts, etc.). The Librarian lets me swap these groups in & out of the User & Tutorial categories in the Create menu on the fly as needed. This way I can keep each library file from getting too big, and still have access to all the goodies I've downloaded or created. Wolfie's program is great!

Here is something you probably never seen before. I have imported a lot of models about 80 megs into the user category in the create menu. Well now every time I try to insert one into a scene and I only get the hour glass and it will not insert the model. Even when I try and hit the x the menu again hangs up. I thought it was my old machine a 333mhz with 64 ram but my new computer 750 mhz with 256 ram is doing the same thing. Does anyone know what is going on.
