Subject: And while we're at it ...

It's a real pain that if you post a new thread, find something wrong, and delete and repost it, the old message remains visible with a "deleted" message, under the reposted version. I see this so often in this forum!

Well this may sound strange...but I think it's better that it works that way. I've often seen people ask a question, and after they get several replys and their question answered..they delete the question ( there is one guy that has done this several times this month ...no names please). Now when someone comes along and reads that thread...it may not make much sense, but at least they will understand that the original question was deleted. SWAMP

The odd subject line is because this thread got moved here from the Poser forum just after this problem struck. In the case you mention, SWAMP, I agree, but when the top message is the only one in the entire thread, it makes no sense to keep it.

Oh in those cases,I agree...but one of the Mod's would have to go through and clean them out. But on their list of things they have to do,and watch over,I doubt that is a high priority for them. SWAMP
