Yummy! I like the old rust shots, and a trainyard is a particularly good place to find them. The one at the top is a great find. [I've been seeing this sort of painting quite often lately while waiting at the crossing gate. Wonder if this is a new form of folk art?] The bottom one has a lot of character.

Did he just say "yummy"? Naaaaah. Jack - I like it, but have two problems with it (not really problems, but I can't think of the stupid word I wanna use). Seems a little flat ... blacks are a bit dull (which may be how they were). Then again, that may be because I've been dealing with a lot of saturated color stuff lately. I am finding that the wood panel seriously distracts me. My eye wants to move across the textures of rust and the shapes of the grafitti, but it keeps going up to the wood panel and then the "R". -=>Donald

Wonderful textures and colors :~).... seems rather disjointed to me.... as Misha said 2 pictures. The horizontal line divides the image in half.... its hard for the place to find a spot to rest on making for an unsettling view. But that could be a good thing if that is what you were going for.

I am, therefore I create.......

i also think it could work as two photos. the upper half also needs a colour boost to pick it up. the lower half works well on it's own but maybe crop of the bit of yellow to the right.

Pictures appear to me, I shoot them.   Elliot Erwitt

Nah, two photo's would be just a borig picture of graffiti (found anywhere) and a boring picture of a sign (found anywhere). It's only when you put the two together that you have something different and more unique.. I like it - I mean as in it's good, but (and damn I HATE being this critical) it's one of those pics you would keep in your library just because it's good, but there's nothing there to make it ultra special if you know what I mean. Changes? Getting rid of the 'R' in the corner and the yellow spray on the bottom (but clone it out, don't crop it - that little bracket bit in the top section would get cut, and it's a nice detail. IMO.) (",)
