Subject: Does Poser work with PovRay or Blender?

Is it possible to export the posed character into Povray and use that to render the reytraced image. (including uv textures etc) Anyone tried this so far, or is it possible at all?

I don't know if you can import OBJ files into POVRay - you certaily couldn't when I last looked at it. (Although that was about 4 years ago now). Theoretically, if POVRay can import OBJ files and retain the mapping info, then yes you could use it to render. Paul

heyas; i heard rumors that blender was going to incorporate an obj importer soon... but dunno about doing all the poser textures and bump settings and all. also, besides obj, poser also puts out 3ds files; you can check to see if the progs use them.
