Subject: Problems opening Bushi's RealEyes

Greetings from a lurker! I just downloaded the zip for Bushi's RealEyes and am having trouble. Everything's in the Geometries/RealEyes folder as directed, but when I try to open the pz3 file it takes 1 1/2 hours to open, then when it finally does I've lost nearly all my system resources so it doesn't want to save. Then if I close down and try to open it again, it says that it can't find the RealEyes.obj. There's no obj in the zip. I've got a PIII, running W2K with 412 of RAM. My C drive is down to 145MB free space, but all the work is on my other drives, each of which (3 in total) has more than a GB of space left. I don't get it. I've also updated my Poser install to the latest Curious Labs update. Could that have somehow caused the problem? Am I missing something? I really love those eyes, having worked with them on Eve and I'd love to get them onto some other models. Thanks for the help! JetM

Hmmmm ... very curious. I haven't heard of that happening before. I'm suspious of the small amount of disk space you have on the HD. I've had problems letting the space on my C: drive get lower then 250MB even with having the paging file on D:. The only thing I can think of right off hand is to send you the .obj file for the RealEyes and see if that helps. Drop me an e-mail and I'll get them off to you. BTW you can contact me directly when you have problems with my figures. I do try to answer all questions that come my way.

DOH! I guess I could have just emailed you, huh? Silly me. I'll do that
