I wish this was an example of my best writing. Alas, as in most things, the beauty I see in my head fails to find its way to characters. And, I must admit, my gift is public for two reasons: the person who has earned it deserves to be mentioned for all that she has given and all that she is; and I am (admittedly) selfish (seeking people to like me for giving somethingI apologize for thatfor I dont want it to outweigh the reason for the giftI am just being truthful). Merry Christmas, dialyn. Who does not make freebies yet gives so much of her time? Who holds her tongue yet honestly speaks her mind? Who has serious real-life worries? Who takes time to answer queries? Who is the lover of four-legged friends? Who believes in making amends? Who has images that rely on Poser? Who has words like a musical composer? Who has a floor that needs to be mended? Who has a soul that needs befriended? Who more than dialyn deserves a gift? Who more than dialyn deserves a lift? Who among all is my best Internet friend? Who else should I consider for a gift to send? (I apologize for any embarrassment, my friendI just felt it was the time of the season to give something and the time of the season for others to see it. So use your money toward your floor and use this gift to fill in the gap in the meantime.)

Chuck, you're just embarressing me to death. You're very sweet...you know I value your friendship. I know we don't agree on everything, but I always think if I really needed you, you'd find a way to help me out if you could. Even though you're known to me through your prose, you're bringing me to tears with your poem. I'm very touched, and appreciate it very much. Please ask your wife to give you a big old hug from from your virtual friend. :)

Yep, she certainly is a gift!
