Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 12:37 pm)
That seems to work well. Thanks! One question. It says that it only works for figures that have injection channels built in, and it uses one of the PBMCC_xx channels. Since somebody else's 3rd party morphs might be in the same channel that could be a problem. I don't fully understand injection channels yet, but I get the impression from the tutorial at Sixus below that it's possible to add injections to figures without channels (and maybe add a channel to one that has it's own channels?). http://www.sixus1.com/TechHelp/MorphsAndMIC.htm It seems that if I want to distribute my morphs that I'd want to have them add new channels instead of using shared channels. Is that possible with V3/M3?
Does the delta file carry the channel number? If not, the other files (Hide/Show and the actual Inj/Rem pose) would be small enough to include two or three versions with different channel assignments. Set one as the default, so that poses would work, but tell people to use one of the others if they had a conflict.
Yes, the delta files have the channel name in them, as do the hide/unhide files. I'd be interested in reading as many tutorials as I can find about injection channels, including ones about experimental methods for adding new channels. Any pointers to pages like that would be appreciated. Also any pointers to detailed explanations of PZ2 and CR2 file formats would be great. (or anything detailing the "readscript" command)

I'm looking for tutorials on using Lightwave to make morphs for Poser figures (I'm using P5). I want to make injection morphs for V3 to use in P5. I'm not looking for how to do the actual changes in LW, but for the steps involved in getting from the poser figure to/from LW and ending up with an injectable morph that I can distribute.
Also I want the morphs to involve more than one body part, for example a butt morph would involve lButtock, rButtock, Hip, & Abdomen.
