Thanks to everyone who gave their comments. Here's what came out of 'em. Decided to make my previous Bilbo into Frodo and made a rounder hobbit. Thought it would be nice to have Sam too. I guess Pippin and Merry aren't too far off then. Would it be better if i stuck to using textures and bump maps for the hobbit feet hair or resort to modelling? Plus, How do you split apart a modelled shirt and use it as replacement parts for a poser body? I keep getting weird end segments. Can such a thing be done on a nurbs modeller or a modeller like Dream3d? My version doesn't have a mesh modeller. What are the pros and cons of just using conforming clothes? I don't intend to animate the figures, just post them, render and do postwork in photoshop and painter (which i just luv doin...especially since I got a painter classic disc bundled with my tablet...)Comments would be very welcome.
