Heya! I'm excited. This is the first challenge that I'll end up actually FINSHING an image for (I've started 2 before but then gave up). I'm liking how this one is coming together.

Please post any comments and critiques that you have. I think the fish need work (modelled in WINGS). They seem lifeless and I don't really like their placement on the picture. It was a long render (this was done on the "Fast Preview" mode) so I hope I can place the fish well without rendering it a million times. I thought about doing a shark or a whale and I may end up doing that instead. The fish were easy to model, though!

Once again, C&C welcomed and appreciated.

I like the streaming light. Since you are only going to have silhouettes, instead of trying to model fish just use 2d picture objects. Find a photo of a school of fish from the angle you want and do some photoshoping.
