Did you load the Joint Parameters Pose for each item, then save it back to the library?I just converted Elf Princess yesterday. And yes... it has the High Fantasy character even though I swore I'd never buy them...
Sigh... I can resist anything but temptation.
Hi Wanderer, I wish I had answer. It seems that both Tailor and MorphmasterPro have lousey tutes. I've read all I could find and played endlessly with much frustration. DAZ is now advertising these two progs to covert V3 Clothes to Steph3, but again gives no "how to". I think lots of folks have these programs sitting on their hardrives getting dusty. Not because they may not be good, but because nobody seems to understand how to make them work. Wish Dr. Geep could write tutes for Codetwisters products.
V2 -> V3 conversions I've done this way have not been perfect either: you may have to break out the magnets. Dr. Geep _does_have a tutorial on that subject. The fact that DAZ is suggesting you need Morph Master as well as The Tailor may be taken as suggesting that the Tailor's output will need tweaking afterwards. Or maybe they just want more of your money. :-)
I got them both when Daz had the special offer of buying MM and getting the Tailor for half price. As you surmised Strixowl I haven't done anything with either of them yet 'cos I just don't know how. Maybe if we all shouted at Daz over in their forums they might listen to our pleas and get some descent tuts out. Catlin
Catlin: I totally agree. We need to do some shouting over at DAZ. I've asked the same Question in the DAZ forums and got no response except from those in the same situation. Let's try again!! Ok? Shain: I've managed to get "form fitting" conforming clothes to work on the model they were designed for by adding morphs and that's about it. Anything flowing forget it or like the area between the breasts on a non-form fitting piece of clothing. Tailor makes the area (for example)form fitting. I've always used a V3-M3 fully loaded after my first experiences. The readme says that the clothing/dress must be native to the figure/Character. If that's true then how dose one get V3 clothing to fit S3, since the V3 clothing isn't native to S3??? I really do believe we need some good tutes on these two codetwister/DAZ products, as this is the 3rd time I've posted on this subject, in a number of places and I always get people saying "me to" & not "Oh just do 1,2,3,etc. or just no reply at all"

Hi so I went out and bought BVH's elf princess decided I didn't like the V3-V2 figure so spent more money and bought Tailor 1.5. I'm using P4 (no propak) loaded the mannikins as per Daz tut' and well the conversion worked sort of except for a small area in the buttock area and a large problem with poke through in the shoulderblade areas. Now after several attempts and cr2's with loads of extra useless morphs I am no further farward. Can anyone help with suggestions for which morphs to load and ways for converting from V2 to V3. thanks Dave
