The waters off the California coast are rather bleak and the water cold. Mostly, we have rocky shoals, sandy bottoms and a bit of Eel grass. I couldn't find any Rock Cod or Ling Cod models (probably too ugly a fish for anyone to want to model!) so I used tuna. We have a few geologic fissures that issue bubbles, too.

Looks great so far, the sand & rock look great, caustics are right on! Are you going to give Charley & his buds any scales?

that's very nice.. If i'm not mistaken, tuna aren't a scaled fish...but i could be wrong. To me it just looks like you've got your rocks, and BOOM, it's just a flat nothingness...it's a VERY good start, much better than mine, but i think it lacks depth.

Maybe move the big background rock further back? The bubbles are too big I think, but the fish look great and I love the ocean floor!
