Trying to do a render dealing with historic music composers and needing Bryce compatible models of them. I already have Bethoven and have looked and looked in free stuff for others, but cannot find at least another one of Bach, perhaps? sigh

Neftis has a bust of a man in his store that could be Mozart, kinda, but I haven't found much in the way of historical figures or composers, there is a definite need for this type of model, I'm sure you've checked out these, but just in case; http://www.3dcafe.com http://www.3dCommune.com http://www.baument.com http://www.planit3d.com http://www.turbosquid.com http://www.deespona.com/index.html There's a ton more under Bryce related links in the header above, you may find something there as well....:)

Yeah..I'm trying to create a scene that has at least TWO old composers in it. Oh well..I'll have to settle on just the one then. LOL! Thanks for trying, you're a doll! hugs

Thanks, ICM...I'm getting desperate! LOL!!

Ardiva, do you need the whole body? If not check for pictures or lithographs of the composers you need and make the busts from lattices or terrains, heck, if you can find a full body, use that instead, then UVmap it in UVMapper classic(FREE) and voila, composers to go......

$50.00+ for a simple bust is alot of money! Zhann..I would like to do that very much, but I'm afraid I don't really know how in detail. I haven't gotten to that far in Kitchens book. :-) Are there any tutorials on this?

RodsArt ( ) posted Wed, 07 January 2004 at 8:33 PM

Yeah I thought that was a bit much for a simple piece. Tons of images of busts of composers. Good Luck

This is the image I was referring to. I wanted at least 2 composers- one on each side of the fountain- but I had to settle for one and a violin. :-0 On hindsight, I should have used a column stand for the bust instead of a bench. Thanks Amethyss...your a doll as well. *hugs*
