Thanks Quest, at first I was in awe. But some of the models, for example the humans are poserpeople. For sure that is forbidden to redistribute? And I think some of the textures, I saw at Lemog? (for example the ceramics). Maybe anybody outhere speaking russian can tell me if it is a safe site? My apologies if I am mistaken.
I never stopped to think that it could be one of those sites. I got linked to it through 3Dlinks.com. On the surface it seemed legit to me. I didn't check everything out just went there for texture hunting and stopped to look at one of the blueprints. The "tips and tricks" section seemed almost entirely in Russian so it was beyond me. I apologize if indeed it turns out to be shady.
I don't know about the other stuff, but I did ask Lemog about the textures on her site because I was doing some commercial stuff, and she said that some of them are stuff that is available elsewhere on the net, so she couldn't give me a definate answer, but felt I should be safe to use them for commercial renders.

They have a pretty good collection of textures and I think that the models don't really look very Poser like, although I dl'ed a couple of the suspect ones to check them out. I should add that I have P5, P4, V1, V3, M1, M3, and Stephanie so I don't think my dl'ing them will be such an infringement if they are any of these models. I'll check them out later and let you know. Whatever the case I think it is a valuable site for textures if nothing else. 8) Catlin
Yes, Catlin, I agree. I took another look see through the site especially stopped in to look over those human models and what I find here is that most of them are 3D Studio Max oriented, being tutorial demos and member uploaded, not surprising since this is primarily a 3D Studio site. I don't think the skeletons or manikins are Poser built. I only saw one model that might be Poser built, the head with the nicely combed hair on it. If anyone knows otherwise about this site, please let us know.

Just ran into this site and thought some of you folks might be interested. The site contains free textures, models, blueprints, matlibs, tips and tricks and a few other things. Unfortunately for me anyway, some of it seems to be written in Russian but since most of it is visual, you have little problem deciphering what to download. If this is a repost, I apologize in advance.
