Can anyone plese point me in the right direction of some good photos to use as textures for female characters, or even give me good references for poses and life situations.

Well, depending on just what you are looking for, an obvious place to look is usenet. the alt.binaries.pictures hierarchy has a lot of groups that would provide that sort of thing. It isn't just porn, though there is a lot of that also.
