Some may know this but for those that don't, Anim8or (a free 3d app) can make morphs for Poser, I put a tutorial up here http://interneteye3d.com/Tutorials/2000/sept/posermorph/default.asp it also renders them quite nicely heres one just rendered with default settings........Steve

Steve, thanks for the tut and especially providing it in downloadable PDF format!!! I've used Anim8or a bit and I like it, although I still don't know how to do some things...... Krel

Just d/led Anim8or and it works on Mac with Virtual PC 3.0 and Win95. I needed to update some .dll & .lib stuff on the Win95 that came with VPC 3.0. The d/l link for these is on the same Anim8or site (actually Explorer 5 Macintosh Edition couldn't access the site, I used Netscape Communicator to dl). Lots of thanks for the tip and the great tool!

Hi Steve, I have a little problem with this procedure. I created a new morph target for the P4 nude woman head as you described. Once that the new morph target is loaded in Poser 4, and I turn the new corresponding dial, the entire head floats off !! I work on PC with Win98. Can you help me ? Thanks for your patience.

Steve, you are a 'treasure' S. I would never have found this nor tried it without this post. BTW--is there a Vicky (or maybe a Mike) clothing CD in the works (or aren't you telling yet??) picnic

steveshanks ( ) posted Wed, 11 October 2000 at 1:23 PM

Olenca, it sounds like you moved or scaled the head by accident but all is not lost ......import the head into a blank window in poser (uncheck all boxes on import) then import the woman from the geometries folder, the morph head and the figure head should line up but if not move or scale the head till it lines up with the figure one then delete the figure and export the head and use that as your morph.....Diane, no sorry no Vicky or Mike stuff on the next CD, its going to be more theme orientated this time for example there is a large foyer type room, you know big stairs ect. (its modeled around the foyer/clock room in titanic) and we've done clothing and props to match, like a waiter, evening gowns and a few things to transform it into a night club.......and lots more of course :o)......Steve

Well, that's okay too S. I can always use P4 stuff on the composite Vicky/Mike figures. I like the idea of your backgrounds too. I wouldn't miss one of your CD's

Problem solved. Thank you very much, Steve !!
