I was once told that my work wasn't dynamic enough and when I queried the young lady what she meant she didn't have a concrete reply. I feel an artist should try to express the real and the surreal as I've said before. I wanted to put a starfish in one of the pools or a fish or something. I settled for a little patch of green. I felt any other object would deter from the subject which was water both powerful and serene. I have others. It seems I've been cultivating them lately as my computer's been on again off again. I've been looking for other Corel users to see if there was a way to set the sensitivity on that centerline edge dtect. What it does it set a random center point and draw to the edge of that color in a raidial line. Is there any filter like that in photoshop? Anyone else have any experience with this type of filter?

A while ago there was a thread about how one paints water in the 2d forum. I thought about water, a very moody subject, and made an attempt to express several of its moods. The poem is short. I didn't put it in the writers gallery because of the picture size limitations. I put it in the surreal gallery because its so tied to the inner emotions that it seems like an extension of one's self. I believe people sit and watch waves crashing on the beach, that they relish in exploring quiet coves and secret underwater spaces because they feel an almost supernatural attachment. It's the fascination children feel as cool water comes in a stream from the faucet. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=581825&Start=1&Sectionid=4&filter_genre_id=0&WhatsNew=Yes
