Is there any way to make self-iluminated-materials in Vue (3.1) ?? Like "glowing in the dark" materials or materials to simulate little lights.

Glowing materials can only be simulated in Vue. Open the material editor, under 'Effects' (last tab on the right) you will find 'Luminous material' and 'Glow'. This will create the illusion that your material is glowing... but it will not be treated as a light source (that is, the glowwill not be seen on other objects). You will have to compensate that with some spotlights if thisis what you are after...

No agiel, in Vue 3.1 there is no glow material. This came with Vue 4. This means that Vue 3.1 doesn't have this feature. You can fake it in several ways. All depends how the object looks you want to "glow in the dark". Holli, can you post a screenshot showing the object you want to glow in the dark? I will then try to explain how to do that (if possible) in Vue 3.1 Guitta

http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=583823 This is a picture I made in 3D Studio. As you can see the little lights on top and at the bottom of the ship are always the same. No matter if they are on the light or dark side of ths ship. This is what I want to do in Vue.

Sorry... I didn't notice the 3.1

Holli, I have now tried all sorts of things in Vu e3.1 but could not get it :-(. The only thing posiible is to use the halo material around a sphere with a point light in it. But this is not what you need. Vue 4 does it fine, but not Vue 3
