Subject: Hair and lights, and dark vertical lines questions

As said before, I am still rather new with Poser (5 is my first version ever). These have probably been answered before, but still: 1/ What must I do do have the hair react to the light? I mean: even with nearly no light at all, hair is still flaming like in full sunshine. 2/ Even with a three-lights setup set to studio classic (mail, fill and back) and increased shadow maps, I still get ugly vertical lines (following V3's body shape) on my render (with bought photographic texture). The tex is made for V3. Any ideas how come? Thanks.

I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now I'll be mad. (Rumi)

  1. Check the ambient colour of the hair is black or almost black. 2) Do you have SR3 installed? PS - Posting a few images would be helpful.

Yes, I have V3 installed. I am used to working in Cinema 4D, and I have to get used to Poser5. Thanks for the ambient color tip! I will upload an image showing those lines later on, or evt a solution if I find one. Thanks for helping!
