"What 3D Program Should I buy?" Not one person here can really tell you what's best for you, as everyone has their own taste in workflow. Try the demo or learning edition of the program you're interested in, this is the only way to find out which programs you like.
I'm not a 3DS user, but I think that the principles might be similar... just have to find the equivalent commands. I work in LW. :o) After modeling a single beltloop, I would create an open curve (or spline) based on the waist of the trousers. Then I would execute a rail clone command with a set number of instances. I'd be happy to post a ffew screen grabs of how this can be achieved with LW if you are interested. Hope this helps somehow. :o) We can only hope that a 3DS modeler will pitch in on this thread and give you some real help. Cheers! M

Hi, I'm relativley new to modeling, about two weeks now.. i'm working with the trial version of max. I've modeled some clothes for vikcy and brought them into poser.. and conformed them. I was just wondering about belt loops.. is there an easy way to create them in Max. I could draw them one by one. but that would take longer to design than it took to make the pants. So I was wondering is there a way to make one belt loop, and then have it replicate itseld along the top portion of the pant. Any help would be appricated.. Nick
