These images were made with a 200-radial-light quarter dome. They illustrate a product which will not be in production for another month. I need some product photography for a trade show next month, so I am using Bryce to produce the images.

The mesh objects were imported as VRML files from my mechanical engineer's development software, SolidWorks. Everything forward of the receiver (barrel, magazine, pump handle, etc) are Bryce primitives.

At the moment, Bryce is tied up rendering a version of the upper pic which is to be used on a 30x40" print. The render started about 7:00pm last night and is less than halfway completed right now, 12 hours later.

Looks great to me! You can get wonderful results with Bryce's rendering engine, but nobody ever said it was fast, lol.

I think it looks really nice too.... I have to agree with Danamo... great results with Bryce's rendering engine, but not the quickest. In my opinion in weighing out speed vs. quality.... I will take quality every time. I have had some renders that have taken better than 50 hours. These look great though. Nice work man. 8) Wade

There are 10 kinds of people: Those who know binary, and those who don't.

A whiner is about as useful as a one-legged man at an arse kicking contest.

I thought fake radiosity was the built in render option Bryce had? Unless you're using fake lighting, then it would be faked I suppose. www.shonner.com
