Hey everyone! I stumbled upon a short-story contest here a few months ago and entered, just for kicks. (I usually hang on in artwork areas and have a gallery here that needs SEVERE updating). Anyway...a buddy of mine read my entry and wanted to write the continuation from where I left off. Long story, short: We developed a little SciFi club to keep the idea alive. What a great idea! I know we have sf writers in abundance. Nice to see creativity build on creativity. I love the idea of the story arcs. By the way, let your writers know that we have another contest running called "The Quest." It's wide open as to the type of fiction that can be submitted. Check it out and see if it is of any interest. Who knows what may come of it???
