Subject: V2 clothing on V3

Funny when something just clicks for you. I'd been frustrated with getting V2 clothing to fit V3 for awhile. I'm OK with Tailor, but had only gone so far as morphing clothes for the intended figure.

But this week I went and got the mannikins and JP poses and I've finally gotten it to work! I've also gotten some really good results in getting V3 clothing to fit S3. I'm relieved that Steph can have some clothes!

Above is a quick render of a character I originally did with Steph 1 who's named Torch. Finally got all the pieces of clothing adjusted to fit her, and used the UTC to convert the textures.

I know, I know, everyone's seen this before. But I was too excited and just had to share.

Happy to share, brittmccary Went to DAZ's tutorial arcana and looked under Other Applications. There are separate tuts for converting M2 clothes to M3 and V2 to V3. Downloaded the files from those. Then went to the the sticky in the Members forum called "Unimesh clothing converting (V3,S3,M3,Freak,SheFreak)" and downloaded the files from that. Once I had the mannikins, it was just using Tailor to transfer the full body morph. It's in the tuts I was so happy! I've wanted to use As Shanim's body strings on V3 since I got her! And, of course, a day or 2 after I figured it out, the new program that galactron pointed out came out! Ah well, I'm not ready to spend another $40. I'm still getting my money's worth out of Tailor!
