Subject: Quickconform problem..

Maybe someone else has encountered this. I created the mesh in lightwave, (small) and grouped it (single group, chest) I run quick conform, and it says it creates the cr2. (it does) I load the new figure, and it looks like it is loading it. it shows up on the list of added props, but nothing can be seen! check materials, and select the prop, and none of it's materials are there either! I import the item seperately, and it loads fine. weird thing is, it worked fine the first time. I made a few minor changes to the mesh, ran it a second time, and that when this occured. BTW for something like a necklace or body piercing, is it smarter to conform it, or smart prop it? (actually it's a nipple addon on the the Pixie..)

I'd have to take a look at it, but 9 times out of 10 when people have trouble it's a grouping or scaling problem. If you want to send it to me use support@flashcardsonline.com and please zip it first. For a necklace or a piercing I would use a smart prop. -Mark

If it was scaling or grouping, wouldn't the textures still show up? Smartpropping works, but conforming was my original solution.

What Poser version are you using? Poser Pro Pack and possibly Poser 5 creates a new obj - same place where the cr2 is placed if you as much as touch the Grouping tool. It may be that the obj is "gone"?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

5.. and the object is there! I even double checked on it! I even tried to copy the object there again myself, just in case. Smartpropping worked fine, but I'd just like to kinda know what happened, so I either don't make that mistake again, or so it can be worked around.
