I seem to recall that, quite a while ago, someone offered a free "The Fly" movie teleport pod. Does anyone have any idea where I'd find it? Thanks in advance.

No, although you can have mine if you want it.

The mapping and meshwork aren't among my best efforts, but as long as you don't look too close, I think it suffices.

Not in its current state. Perhaps after I tinker with the mesh a bit more, remap certain parts, and add some ERC code so the door will work properly. If you're truly interested, I could fix it up in a day or two.
