Does anyone know where I can get hi res textures, at 300dpi or higher?

DPI is generally irrelevant for textures. What do you want them for - human? Frog? Single sided square?

Symple, the bigger you make your texture, the higher the resolution will be, Victoria texture, 1000 x 1000 wil be of much lower resolution as a 3000 x 3000 , use the same template, just enlarge it!
