I've been thinking about creating Poser content (textures, props, etc.) and place them here at Renderosity for sale. I work with Poser 4 and still use Posette and Dork, once in a great while I use Vicky and Mike. My question is this: Do items for Standard P4 figures still sale or would I be better off concentrating on putting my efforts into Mike and Vicky? Or should I create for both the old and new figures? Right now I'm information gathering so I have a better idea of what will sell and what won't. Any suggestions and ideas you can give will help me greatly and is very much appreciated. Thanks.

A lot of ppl- mostly newbes- still use the basic P4 figures- BUT- those who buy stuff- use the mill figures by many degrees the most. You see a lot being made right now for V3 and M3- they're the flavor of the week still- but don't discount V2 and the mill girs- they still have a large following still

I still use the basic p4 figures and I have been using poser for years and I am not a newbie. You could make versions of the clothes to work with the poser 4 figures and the millenium figures too.

I think Geoegress is right. Lots of people still use the P4 figures...but the people likely to buy are likely to be using the DAZ figures. I mean, if you're willing to spend money, the first thing you spend it on is the Millennium figures. The P4 figures have been out for a long time. There's already a ton of free stuff out there for them, so you'll be competing against that.
