I downloaded Dracs excellent MP3 model, the version I got is in brushed gold which I really like. However, the only video it seems to play is what can only be described as a porno! I haven't watched it all way through of course, it's disgusting! I wandered if the file was corupted on download and has anybody else had the same problem!!LOL.

Drac: Now here's a thought......what makes bryce files huge? Is it the textures/mats, the object itself, the size of the object, the background.....???? If any of the above, would removing the text/mats, reducing the obj size etc...see where I'm going.....reduce the final size of the Bryce file? In other words, can you send the basic wire-frame to someone and still expect it to render when they get it...?

I do believe if you use a picture-type mat instead of a procedural (don't you love my command of bryce techincal terms?..;) they come out a lot larger..wonder if it's the print or something..

Any images in a bryce scene are saved uncompressed. This encludes textures AND the 16-bit files that are terrains. Get a faster connection if you want to download stuff faster.
