Subject: p5 material room and texture alignment - uv

seemingly i'm missing something important... i want to move and scale a texture so that it fits to object in the material room. i thought it would be enough to scale the "U_Scale" and "V_Scale" value and give it a new u and v offset, but regardless of what i'm doing nothing changes... ?:( i see the texture moving in the small preview fanster of the nodes but it has zero effect on the rendering. i left the texture coords as UV, changed Image_Mapped to clamped... yet nothing. can anybody tell me please what i'm doing wrong?

I was going to suggest rendering. Many effects in the materials room are not seen on the object that they are applied to until they are rendered. but it seems you already did that Chris Cox
