Hi all. where can I get some FREE poser 3 templates so that I can create textures for my figures? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Minty

does Poser 3 even allow for textures?..;) not that I've looked..;) Phil C did some stuff with Poser 3, you might ask him.

Have a look on the Content CD in the Texture TemplatesPoser 3 People folder. You may be pleasantly surprised. :)

If your Poser 3 came off a magazine cover CD, as many do nowadays, you won't have the content CD. Fear not, you can make your own templates to any size you want; just download UVMapper. The Classic version is free, and there are tutorials on the site.

Go to The Saucier Pages, he has lots of templates for Poser 3 and even for Poser 1 and 2, for some animals and so on. You don't need to do them again with UV-Mapper. Those templates are plain black/white mesh painting images. You just have to paint over them - beware the seams, though. Here is one old tutorial for painting your own textures onto the templates for P3 http://www.raingod.com/angus/OtherWorlds/Resources/Tips/Poser/TextureMaps.html If you are looking for pre-made skin textures....then you better try Winscape 2001 http://members.lycos.co.uk/poser3/ Helen from Strike a Pose used to have several Poser 3 textures, but her site vanished and I didn't see a new site done by her yet.... With a little tweaking you might be able to use some of the Poser 4 textures on the Poser 3 templates too - the main difference is, that Poser 3 has only one template for the whole figure and Poser 4 has two: one for the head and one for the body.
