when i put clothes on a figure and then move the figure their leg sticks out like when adding hosery. i move victorias leg and then part of the leg is showing even when i render it as a movie! how can i fix this problem so the clothes cover up the nakedness properly? i am using the conform to option but that doesnt seem to work well. IM me at PresPT352

You do use clothes that are made for Victoria, right? Poke-thru will occur in some poses, mostly the more extreme ones, but it depends on the clothes. Sometimes the best solution is to make the underlying part invisible (if it's the leg that is sticking thru a pair on jeans, make the leg invisible)

Select the body part you want to make invisible then go to the object menu-properties and then deselect visible.

READ the MANUAL. See my response to your post above. If you can't be bothered to read the manual, at least read all the entries in the menus. Carolly

I agree with carolly, the manual does tell you most of the basics. Though sometimes it is hard to find the answer, i would tell beginners to read the manual if they have a problem and then ONLY if they can`t find the answer in the manual, to ask the question in this forum.

I'd have to agree with the others. Read the tutorial in the manual. Familiarize yourself with Poser before you purchase more items. And if you didn't purchase Poser and/or the items, this isn't the Forum for you.

"And if you didn't purchase Poser and/or the items, this isn't the Forum for you. "

?!? Let's not jump the gun now, hmm?

I offered two pieces of advice, if you'll kindly read my post in its entirety. Either follow the first part or the second part, as is applicable. Honestly, I see sooo many people on here asking how to conform clothing to Victoria. Now, I played with Poser for months as well as going through the first tutorials in the manual before I spent more money on it. I also hold to the school of thought that you should at least ATTEMPT to figure it out before getting someone else to do it for you. When I come to forum with a question, I've tried to do it until I'm near tears with frustration and searching.

xantor ( ) posted Thu, 04 March 2004 at 8:05 PM

I agree with kendra, anyone is allowed in this forum, even if they don`t have poser. The way that lhiannan said it was a bit heavy handed, though she just meant no timewasters.

lhiannan ( ) posted Thu, 04 March 2004 at 8:30 PM

No, I meant no warezkiddies. And I didn't say this individual is or is not one.

Kendra ( ) posted Thu, 04 March 2004 at 10:16 PM

When someone is new to poser and they find this forum they are more likely to ask their questions rather than look up what may or may not be helpful in a badly written manual. Suggesting they check the manual is ok. Suggesting they may or may not be a criminal- is not.

Kendra, Perhaps lhiannan had checked out his website (use the top link, where he spells his name correctly) and found his praise of hackers and defense of piracy? While he extolls cleverness, a lot of credit card numbers and medical records and private memos are being stolen and shared. He is obviously too young to know what a hacker really is... and confuses crackers with them. He is probably not worthy of our assistance or attention, but he is egocentric enough to keep trying for that. 🤷 Carolly (Note that Miranda justifies his theft of Senatorial memos by saying they weren't guarded well enough... there is a complete lack of morals involved.)

xantor ( ) posted Fri, 05 March 2004 at 6:14 AM

He does say that hacking is illegal on his site.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Fri, 05 March 2004 at 6:25 AM

At the same time that he glorifies it! Yeah, pirates are criminals, but aren't they cute and romantic and wonderful? Carolly

lhiannan ( ) posted Fri, 05 March 2004 at 4:43 PM

I never suggested anyone was anything. I merely offered two statements. If one is false in an individual case, move on with life. If someone has a guilty conscience, that's their problem, not mine. shrug
