Subject: realistic skin textures (questions+request)

I'm looking for photo-realistic skintextures for V3 and M3 (I have her skintextures high res from daz, but they always look a lot better in the promotion image altough no postwork is done) I'd love them to be freebies because I'm saving money for a parrot. Thanks a lot

It's all in the lighting. try the Global lights sets from Daz with your textures, I think that's what was used for the V3 promo shots of those textures. RuntimeDNA has a lot of free high quality light sets for different moods and looks, they work well with high res photo real textures. When I was playing around with V3 with lights I'd put on or just mucking around the textures never did look as good as the promo shots until I started working with the light sets that I mentioned. I don't know of any high quality photo real textures for free. There are a few for V2 and M2 in the freestuff and if you have the texture converter application you could convert them to V3, or M3.

My Laurel texture is free and its photo-based. Not super high-res, but might be good enough for you. Just click my name and then go to my freestuff :)
