I'm posting this message just simply because I'd like some feedback on my work. As I posted in a previous message, I followed Crescent's tutorial at http://www.fallencity.net/tut-posa/index.php to attach the Millenium Dog's head to Mia (V1 w/ MilCat head by Little Dragon). I created an image showing both Mia and MiaD (for lack of a better name) and want to know what people think and whether (given that all parties involved give permission) if there is any interest in this figure. You'd, of course, have to have V1, MilDog and Mia installed. Well, Mia sounds like meow... so is a good name for a cat. The analogous dog sounds aren't very feminine, however. Rufus is a great name for a rotweiler who makes rufh-ruffh noises, but not a pretty name at all. Maybe Kay9? Carolly

I would be interested:-) Have a deep fascination with ancient Egyptian Gods. I have to say that your work looks outstanding!

After some consideration, I'm thinking of naming this character Arfaen, a Cani name from the RPG World Tree which made me think to try this hybrid in the first place. It's a suitable "doggy" sound without getting too silly, I think. As well as holding a bit of androgeny - MilDogVic2 looks a sight better as a male than a female, I think. RonGC, thank you very much. I have a certain love for mythology in general, but the ancient Egyptians obsessive love for furries has always amused and fascinated me, as well as their use of vivid color. Sigh... I'm never going to get that Sheuen texture finished... Now I have to see if Arfaen can make a suitable hyenaoid.

The MilDogVic2 does look great as an egyptian god, I would like this, too.

Oooh they're great! Have you considered simply calling the dog character Anubis? After all, Anubis is a human with a dog's (Jackal's) head, just like this one. But Arfaen has a nice doggish sound to it too. Arf arf :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

lhiannan: You have my permission to redistribute the original neck geometry I created for Mia. Just make certain everything is properly encrypted to keep DAZ's lawyers happy. I'll build a new neckpiece custom-fitted for Victoria and the MilDog later. Right now I'm a bit preoccupied with another project.

Little Dragon, thanks :D I still have some magnets to apply before I can package this for distribution. The dog's head actually fits rather well into the neck geometry you created. There's only a few little bumps 'n lumps (and holes). I'll of course contact Daz to make sure everything is a-ok (and leave an email trail). Maybe when they keep seeing we email them to ask permission about putting "AnimalX"'s head on "FigureY" they'll figure out there is indeed a market for anthromorphs.

DAZ just offered another mouse in clothing (a better one with digitigrade legs), so they might be carefully edging into acceptance of the idea of animals with human qualities. 2500 years of story-telling might be brought into the modern age. :) Carolly

Debra Ross has some experience with anthros and other fantasy creatures. Remember Rhianna?

What we could really use are chakats and other 'taur variants.

And don't forget PhilC's Antropomorfic characters, if you're into that type of critters :o)

You know, I have Furvette... I don't know where she is! She used to be installed and I've changed computers once and hard drives twice... Eyes multiple spindles of CD's sitting on top desk, each with the ominous name of "Poser Zips Vol. XYZ date AA/BB/CC" Ohhh noo...
