In october I will be converting my site for 3d into flash and other 3d related stuff. I have gotten sick of trying get new 3d objects, flash source files, clip art, and back grounds from all over and plus half are dead links. I have over 600 megs worth of storage and I only use 5 megs of it. AND IT WILL BE FREE DAMMIT!! that means even popup ads and banners are not going to be on here. any and all that want to place your stuff, and even a small index page about yourself, just let me know. I have a bitch(opps) a comment form for you, and just let me know what you want on. rederosity is great but the links are almost always dead to download.

Some suggestions. First off I suggest you pop up a non flash version, You site is using allot of highly resource demanding animation. People with older or less powerful equipment will quickly tire of the choppyness of the interface. I have a DSL connection and 3d accellerated graphics and a fast processor but not everyone has. Second incorporate a music off button. Thied allow visitors to skip the animation running on the bottom. It tends to slow the rest of the interface down. Also you need to sync the audio to the character in the VR smile. She finishes talking even before her lips move. Macromedia flash is good for certain things, others are best done by other means. Try not fall into the trap of jamming everything under the flash interface. As in most things the KISS method also applies to flash. http://ebike.homestead.com One of my flash enhanced sites, Nothing earthshattering here but if flows and does not over tax hardware or bandwidth. You want to afford access to the slower machine in packistan as well as the Dual Xenon rigs locally.

hey thanks for the info. I will be dumping that site in october to re-design it to host more things including a html version. True I did not sync the lips to the voice, and I do have to do that. The music off option is somthing I did'nt even think of and your right! The new version is going to be geared more for everyone. Right now this is my little testing ground until october. Thanks.

I can appreciate the circumstance. I fell pretty much into the same trap a while back with VMRL. I was bedazzled with all of the possibilities, spent an enormous amount of time fleshing out a interactive 3D world only to find at the end while It was slicker than snot. It could only run with any type of speed from the hard disk. I could'nt figure out why the site was being used more often. Ultimately I put the VMRL version as a alternate to the HTML version I created. Right now the site sits on my hard disk. I have not yet got the chance to port it to a host.
