For some reason I've started having all sorts of problems with my Poser after it having worked pefectly for months... when trying to load a character, prop etc I keep getting the "Can't find file... etc etc .obj" message... until I finally get a "Run out of memory.. save your work and quit" message. What's going on...? I've stripped the pc, reformatted, run viruscans, trojan removers, spyware detectors, added RAM, shut down all other programs...and yet still the same problem. Why's this started happening... and what can I do about it..? I'd appreciate any suggestions, thanks :o)

no need to panic, it's a fairly common problem :) I assume you're using Poser4 which means when you load a figure instead of loading the original obj file poser loads from an rsr file in the same folder, These can & very often do become corrupted. What you need to do is find the folder that the obj is sitting in & delete the rsr file that's there also (just the rsr needs deleting not the obj) restart poser & all will be well with the world at least till it happens again. The only permanent cure for this problem is to upgrade to either Poser Pro or Poser5. Of course after my having waffled on for ages it could quite easily be that you forgot to install the obj or moved it somewhere else which would give the same errors :)
