Subject: _About the role of Fine Arts: Attempt for a forum.

About the role that Fine Arts had in Human History Letter to Renderosity Artists & other R.R. Communities: Supposing most of you, guys here are artists, I propose a thread: _Here's a 'list' of some different "purposes" of Arts _(I imagined this list in a heart-beat, and forgive me if I classified them or tried to "classify" Arts, which might not be the most important thing in people's mind, and I would understand that some could say: The important thing is not to talk or philosophe about Art, what's important is DOING some. But my purpose being not to classify, but to know what other artists think, (Yes, some artists think... LOL ), So I still propose this thread, for a very personal "survey", and and after all, what's wrong with that ?) _ In this list_which is not perfect, and non-exhaustive, I am only a human, what kind(s) of art(s) and their goal(s) would you be supporting, favorizing, doing, that you would be bigger fans of, ready to do yourselves (creating Artworks), or simply amateurs-admirers: _If you were asked, regarding Fine Arts, and in regard to this improvized "list", (imcomplete, of course), which kind of art in this list would you admire the best or support the most, thinking this or that are more, or less useful and "good' to make the artists be useful individuals to Human Society, by example helping the growth & expansion of human mind, or simply intelligent, either simply showing Beauty, knowing those two examples might not be the only ones to be some of certain artists' goals, and knowing too these would be only certain artists'goals only. This 'subjective' personal list is: _The 'fashion' or 'fashionable' arts (meaning: meaning sometimes some totally snobbishly called 'modern Art', often hiding very badly mediocrity, that follow more or less Social or policital Events and adapt to it, for diverse reasons). _The 'servitude' art, which would be a kind of disguised scamy art, just to entertain some progaganda, being partisans of some Cause or lobbyesque interests, which can include classical-looking & 'ancient perfection' aspect, sometimes called 'Supermaket' Art, or 'tacky' art. Let's call it 'commercial' Art. The 'copycat' art, which are trying to repeat great past atists or copy them to the letter, two hairs-paintbrush, feather, note, triplet or coda, meaning nothing new is possible or as good as the ancient ones. (The problem that can be perceived by some seeing classical musicians, or other 'artisans', even honourable in what they want to do, but with the anachronic dilemna, even not always felt consciently: Spending their entire artist' lives to "interprete" the most perfectly pieces of past classical wonderful music, and in the same time, by the way, who forget to create themselves, because all their time was taken by learning and play these pieces pefectly My son told me that "they were not made for creating, but for reading"...but my son is an excessive-"terrorist-with 5% of voters in his favor" thinker.) _The 'fantasy', 'sci-fi', 'futurist', 'surealistic', or 'hyper-realist' art, or as you want to call it, including a big effort of imagination, and considered sometimes 'subversive', 'disturbing', 'disrutptive', when not 'terrorist' by some. _The 'spy' or 'fake' art, which could be a caricature of art, looking like art, but only here to mock art, when not there to counter, disgrace or deny it, and having a total different goal than to diffuse Beauty, or anything regarding art, but kind of copying Art in order to disturn it from the different goals artists do Arts for, described above or not, mostly to ridicule or even destroy art, but USING arts for purposes that have nothing to do with the beauty or value they'd pretend in public they give to this or that kind of art, making something else out of art' and artists'Existence , denying in an occult way it is a valuable human useful activity, but tolerating art for other purposes, which could be what they call: their 'business'. _The 'modern art', which can often be considered or used and, or called 'Applied-arts', meaning ornamental, decorating the 'status-quo' in a nice way more than making real creation bringing expansion of spirit & mind, the art making the 'city-hall' a smart-looking place, if I dare exagerating, showing th reality, good or badly, but bringing nothing new, just describing 'how it is'. And then the question coming would be to know what the heck is the use of it, excepted its exclusive decorative purpose or issue? __________________________________________ _I just would really love to know your reactions. But I would understand if you had none to answer and were not interested at all by this kind of discussion, and in that last case, I would take my conclusions and would not bother you anymore about this kind of writings of mine. I am actually wanting to take a quite long break from creating new art-works, knowing that some will like it, then these ones can have now some 'relief', and in the meantime letting the other ones who like my works know that I might be back soon with new artworks, that I hope will be better than what I tried to do until today, but it seems it only will be so when I feel like doing it. "No one is absolutely necessary."...I don't remember who once wrote that ! Serious comments and answers, or even humourous comments about this thread are welcome, I love when people make fun of me, if it is intelligent, fair and relevant, then I'm always ready to be the first one laughing at myself with you. Thanks for your attention anyway. Best Greetings to all of you anyway. See ya ! Klaus.
