Great news for the animators :o) But this post still belongs in Product Showcase, doesn't it?

well if this gets moved.. then all the Curious Labs posts get moved, all Daz posts get moved etc. but I remember when this was pointed out before and ppl were told 'but if it wasn't for CL...'etc etc etc... A merchant is a merchant is a merchant. Khai the one that objects to 1 rule for one person and a different rule for the rest of us.
I would be very upset if this post gets moved. This is not a merchant post, but an essential upgrade for a program, moving this would be like saying that news about Poser SR4 was not allowed in this forum. It is a free upgrade to those of us with Mover 4, like me, and therefore deserves to be posted here. This is not a product plug, it is a program update, a very important distinction. It opens new possibilities for merchants and users, and everyone should know about new available technologies and methods.
gebe isn't selling Mover. The rule, as I understand it, is that the vendor should not advertising their products here but if a member sees a product they want to share information about, that's okay. If I make clothing and sell it, I should take my clothing to the Product Showcase. If I see clothing by xxxx and want to say how much I like it, I can post my enthusiasm here. I realize that may seem like a tiny difference, but a difference it is. This was also placed in the Product Showcase, for all that means.
I tried to reply last night, but the server got a hiccup and I had to go to bed. So I'll try again. I don't KNOW Mover, other than it's something for Vue. I am not policing this, I merely asked if it was placed in the correct forum, sometimes people post in genuine mistake. Since this is free and GEBE is not the maker it is of course both permitted and on topic here, so no it should not be moved. The only posts you can't post here is if YOU are the creator. As dialyn said, customers can post all the positive feedback they want - and they're encouraged to do so too. If we couldn't post anything that had commercial items in it, this forum would be pretty empty. I apologise for any misunderstandings my previous post may have caused.
