Thi is a devil-dog I am making in Carrara. The problem is there has got to be a better and easier way to make teeth and attach them to the upper and lower jaw. If you use Carrara to make models and no an easier method then making each tooth separately and attaching them one by one, your help greatly appreciated. I just got done and playing connect the dots from vertex to vertex then filling in the poly's has been hell. Someone please tell me there is a much easier way Love and Peace Serge

Very nice model by the way. Couldn't you jusy make one cannine tooth & duplicate it for the other 3? The same duplication process for the insissors & molars? They would be fairly easy to make in the spline modeler with elipses and a couple of cross sections. Not sure about attaching them to the jaw if in fact you are connecting the vertices. All depends on how you are going to use the model.

Wow, you've got Vertex thing down, I wish I could model in it like that. I don't think there is an easier way but doing it tooth by tooth, a drawback but worth it inthe end. Very nice work, damn!

Could you do a terrain? Paint some circles with gradiated fills corresponding to the tooth placement, import that image into the terrain modeler and then treat the resulting thing as the teeth? Just an idea.... (Similar to someone's approach to grass from a long time ago -- I think her name was Stacey?) - Chip
